location ok. I was met and let in, given a wee tour, had the heating turned on for me as it was cold. Amenities explained to me clearly.
owner left a friend in charge while out of the country. Owner had not changed contact details over to that of the friend. Communication was very hard as my phone had broken. I had to wait a long time in my car in the cold then bang on doors to get a response. the heating had not been turned on as I had booked very late in the day.

Just a short walk to shops and eateries. We had a lovely meal at austin92.
We were offered another apartment but by that time we had already used the bed and bathroom. There was prompt and generous help offered when we had a post-checkout need to re-enter.
Even though we are a couple we were allocated the 2 bedroom apartment which had inferior facilities: kitchenette was in hallway, kitchen sink had a wobbly tap and doubled as laundry tub, lounge was a windowless room and heating all these spaces was a challenge.

Cool, unique location. Surprisingly spacious. Extremely friendly and helpful host. Would definitely stay here again.
The only issue we had was with other guests. As they arrived home late ( and perhaps had a few drinks) their laughter did seem to echo around the church when they arrived back. Nothing the hosts could do obviously but something to consider

Fantastic historic accommodation, a warm large private space for us with a comfortable bed and a lovely spa bath.
We enjoyed the sheared space in the main hall too.
Hayley was a lovely host.
She communicated well and welcomed us all in. Even made sure our bikes were all off the street, safe and secure.

We loved the quirky features and especially the 4 poster bed. Lots of room and had a lovely relaxing bubble bath in the large tub.
