Receptionist on that day clearly not enjoying her work. WiFi didn't work, was probably just a matter of resetting the modem but she had zero interest in doing anything about it,

Beautiful place to stay in the oldest monastery in Poland (it was a Catholic monastery even before Poland was Christian). Majestic views as monastery rises above Vistula River below. This is where Kings and Queens spent the night before entering Krakow. Good Polish food for breakfast, lunch and dinner at hotel. Cafe, store, bookstore, restaurant, museum, and Church within a few steps of hotel. The monks make beer that is one of the best you will drink. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good elevator and easy access to room.
No AC, though it felt fine even when it was in the high 80s outside because of the thick walls of the hotel.

The beauty and serenity of the place. The view over the river and the walk alongside it.
The plastic sheet in the bed (under the ordinary sheet) may be practical but not so nice to sleep on.
