Disappointing
Pool and sauna area very modern and well equipped. Really enjoyed relaxing there.
I booked this hotel because I had surgery the next morning and wanted a place with nice pool to unwind and relax before I went into hospital. I arrived in the evening exhausted after pre surgery meetings ect. I was on a tight schedule for my stay and made a plan to maximise my time. I decided to use the room service and rang the front desk at around 11:30pm to ask about it and was advised to fill out a room card and leave on the door. I was debating to sleep in and not go to the pool as I was so tired but decided it would be better if I got up early and relaxed. I read the card and filled it out choosing an early slot 7-7:30 am in order for me to eat quickly and conveniently before going to the pool. I put the card on the door before 12am (card says hang before 4:30am) and went to sleep. I woke at 6:45am , tided the room for the waiters to put the trays and waited for my breakfast, at 7:35 I was wondering where my breakfast was , initially thinking I would be finished my breakfast and all by then but waited till after 7:30 as that was the later of the time slot I chose. I said I better just look on the door and when I opened it and seen my door card still there I was so annoyed ! I rang reception not much of an apology maybe because the language barrier and then got dressed as I didn’t have time to wait for the order to come to the room. I took the card to reception and explained my anger . Just got a sorry back , no discount , no manager spoke to me or anything to make up for the bad service. I had to rush my breakfast and rush my time in the pool before checking out at 10am . It completely ruined my morning and I was exhausted waiting around in the hospital. How can someone whose job it is to collect door cards not check an entire floor ? What a joke having people in there rooms waiting for food when they could be still sleeping. I’d never again stay at the hotel if I was on a tight schedule as I wouldn’t trust them again.
