We were impressed with the historical aspects of the hotel. Our room was an apartment size with comfortable mattress and new bedding. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Lastly the neighborhood is whimsical.
The internet was poor but understandable with the age of building. It was not a dealbreaker as we enjoyed the hotel and tours.

Wonderful
The location in the historic Kazimierz district. The architecture of hotel. The room size and the furnishings. The ample breakfast taken in a beautiful dining room.
There is no lift as it is an old building. We were on top floor. Its not ideal for people with mobility/respiratory issues. However, this did not spoil our stay.

It feels like being back <= 100 years, I loved the old furniture and tapestries, the books, the feeling as if you were in the house of an old aunt that you are visiting. The staff was very friendly, the breakfast was beyond anything I have experienced before, even in 5 star hotels. Dinner with all the delightful jewish dishes and the klezmer music was like a dream.
It would have been great to have some books in english, since I do not speak polish. I would have for sure bought more books then.

Very Good
Had a very homely feel to it . Staff were friendly and gave a great variety for breakfast. Wasn't a bad location either. Beds were comfy and room and bathroom clean .
Bathroom is in a separate room but it's still your own personal bathroom as you have the key and it's numbered the same as your room . It's a very old fashioned building so cant be helped so it wouldn't stop me staying again, it's just not ideal to have to leave your room everytime you need the bathroom and use a key especially during the night walking across the corridor. This isnt a complaint just an observation really.

Good
Location is good for Jewish quarter but a little away from the centre of Krakow. Restaurant and musical accompaniment is excellent but not cheap.
Bathroom was across the corridor from my room (but private). Some rooms have en-suite bathrooms. Servicing of room/bathroom was rather cursory. Whilst both were clean and tidy on arrival, the only daily service was replacing used water bottles in the room and replacing towels in the the bathroom. Bed was not made up each day. Whilst breakfast was plentiful, it was strange for the British traveller. No cereal or porridge offered, only savoury options (including herrings, cheese, eggs, salad veg) with bread. Yoghurt and jam also available and fruit. No decaffeinated coffee. Essentially same offering every day.

Wonderful
Amazing hotel! Such a beautiful, old place, filled with history! Books around every corner, heavy, colourfull carpets. The room was very cozy, and oldschool, and the bathing facilities was new and lovely. Exceptional location in the very heart of the old jewish quarters!
The breakfast, which really also was great, didn't really fall into our liking, but there was fruit, youghurt, bread, cake - everything good and classic.

What a little gem. The hotel had such a charming character. Breakfast is included and was delicious. I traveled alone and felt safe here. It felt like a home away from home.
The shower leaked. This made quite a mess. Not a deal breaker.

The staff were excellent and very helpful and efficient. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do. This is not a complaint but the reality of the situation. Our lovely and clean room was on the second floor and I commend my wife, who uses a cane, on climbing the 43 steps 2 to 3 times a day. It's good exercise for people in their mid seventies. Over all it was a great experience.
The door in our bathroom only opened about 1/3rd of the way before if got stuck on the floor.

Wonderful
The breakfast was fantastic. Lots of Polish specialties, interesting things to try. We liked all of the books which were in rooms and the public areas. Cozy factor 100%.
Our room, due to the construction of the old building, had little natural light.

Very Good
The staff is friendly, caring and polite. The place has a warm and family atmosphere. The breakfast was good, I loved the delicious fresh cakes in the morning, the coffee was awesome. It's a very unique place in general, trully authentic. The WiFi is surprisingly good.
Check carefully if your room includes bathroom inside of your room and not outside of your room before booking, because there is not much fun to open your bathroom with a key each time you need to use it, as well as if you are sensitive about your privacy. Even if the old furniture creates a unique atmosphere, the pillows could be renewed, they are not comfortable.
