The breakfast was rather good for a European hotel, and the location is great - down the block from the castle and within 10 minutes (or less) walking distance from the square. There are also plenty of shopping options within walking distance which is very convenient.
I specifically asked for a quiet room. There is a courtyard that belongs to the hotel. My room was above this courtyard, and in the evening there was abundant activity and smoking in the courtyard, disrupting my ability to get rest for the early morning meeting I traveled to the city for. Very frustrating.

The hotel had an excellent location, just a few minutes’ walk from the old town and close to all the main tourist attractions. It was very convenient for sightseeing and exploring the city on foot.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The bed was cozy, and everything looked neat and tidy. I appreciated the quiet atmosphere after a busy day of exploring.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area who values cleanliness, comfort, and a great location.

We really liked the moon light—it was such a neat touch to the room’s decor! The atmosphere of the hotel felt very welcoming and comforting, and we loved being able to walk to the town square from the hotel. It was a great stay overall!
The breakfast wasn’t our favorite—the eggs were quite runny and the other meat options weren’t great, though we did appreciate the nice selection of teas. We also didn’t enjoy the dinner options at the hotel; the wings, in particular, were disappointing.

Denis! He fixed an issue with our booking made through booking.com that booking.com didn’t send over. He was also dealing with drunk Brit’s who had no concept of someone else is being helped and need to wait their turn while also helping us sort out the problem which he did. His customer service was beyond exceptional and would hire him myself! Location was amazing. Our room had the view of the castle grounds.
The rooms were small but then again it is a boutique hotel in old town so to be expected.

I loved my little city hotel room. It was small but comfortable and clean. The hotel is located an easy 15 minute walk from the Wawel castle in one direction, a 15 min walk from the Old Town area in the other direction, and 15 minutes from Kazimierz (Jewish quarter) in still another. A super cute coffee shop (shout out Yellow Monkey!) is at the end of the block. I forgot to book their private parking, but lucked out with a spot on the street nearby. The meters can be plugged for long periods in advance and your car doesn't have to be moved daily, which was a huge bonus. A car is not needed to see the highlights of this gorgeous city - I only had one because of the other locations in Poland I was heading to. If Krakow is your only visit, it's super easy to use the public transport. Breakfast with Leonardo properties never disappoints.
My only complaint is that I didn't stay longer. Arrived on a Friday and left on a Monday. I could've easily stayed another day or two. The Leonardo hotel is consistently good at all of its locations. Highly recommend.
