Located in the historic, commercial and leisure center of the city of Lagos, on a pedestrianized street, Bora Dormir is a Local Accommodations (Hostel) unit that has been operating since 2013 and was completely renovated in 2024, offering seven rooms with two shared bathrooms and one suite with a private bathroom. One of the rooms has a private kitchen. Bora Dormir offers simple décor in which the color white predominates. With the renovation, the Hostel's facilities have been substantially improved in terms of thermal and acoustics to ensure greater customer satisfaction and comfort. Bora Dormir offers free Wi-Fi, a television, a mini-bar, a microwave, a bottle of water per guest and welcome fruit baskets. Due to the excellent location of the accommodations, guests can walk to the beach and also enjoy the best fish and seafood delicacies and specialties in the well-known and traditional restaurants and bars in the surrounding area. The center of Lagos is also the perfect place to relax in the evening while enjoying a drink. If you stay at Bora Dormir, you can do all this without having to use public transport, as the accommodations is very centrally located. The beaches are about a 10-minute walk from the accommodations. Lagos Marina is a 5-minute walk away. Sagres and its fortress are about 19 mi away and Portimão is about a 15-minute drive away. When I arrived there was no personell. People working close-by told me that the hotel was closed, so I looked for a different accomodation. Later I passed by and there was still noone there. I wrote an email and got the response "Please contact booking". The phone number also didnt work.

Comfortable beds, white sheets and towels. Good location right on the center. Good Italian and Indian restaurants in the same street, which I think they have been selling as part of the guesthouse.
Pictures don't show reality. Room was smaller then expected, and not that nice. We slept on 3rd floor, and it was all pretty small. Bathroom not clean, and the shower kept falling down, making the whole bathroom wet. Lights in the room didn't work. Staff was almost not possible to reach on email and by the door. No reception or lugguage area. Number given by the door was apparently a wrong number, but no other info provided when we arrived. They didn't provide info about wifi, and asked for 15 euros extra for a second guest in my double bed. I still wonder why. I also asked for a reciept, but still haven't been emailed like they said. I feel this place is a bit phony, and could have had more or same comfort in a private room at a cheaper hostel.

I love the super friendly staff which makes me wanna come back. The room is comfy and beautiful. And the facility is nice.
The shared bathroom everyone stepped in with shoes and it's not comdy to take shower. I can hear any voice if somebody walk or open thier door.

Location is great, super central. Comfortable space and overall bathroom and room we're very cleaned. I arrived very late and it was easy to check in as well.
It's not a problem of the property but the area around it. Since it's very central it gets very loud from the night life. The property accepts just cash..in 2023 you really need to take card payments.

The location. Its so close to the main square but quiet at night.
The restroom was only one for many rooms and you had to queue. It was with on window and on average not clean but just because people were using it and it was not cleaned up as frequently as it should be due to the amount of guests. The staff was so slow. We had to wait 15 minutes just for the staff to show up because they work in the bar on the front.

Wonderful
Very nice place in the heart of city center. Everything is close. The beach, restaurants, shops, motorbike rental, post office. The staff is really nice and always helpful. We had some questions and the messages were answered very quickly. You can left your luggage in the hostel after check-out. The room and bathroom were clean. I recommend this apartment really much.
Noise from the street, but we knew it and brought earplugs.

The room was very nice. newly renovated. For hostel prices, it could've passed for a hotel. Location was great- tons of food nearby and nightlife was a short walk. Things were clean.
Staff wasn't overly helpful and when we needed help he was nowhere to be found. Also, turns out they're cash only, which was never mentioned to us- luckily we had enough cash on us. Also, each floor has just one bathroom so you have to be quick.

The whole place is super adorable. Location could not have been better. Room was very big and cozy. It is a great value of money! Totally recommend!
Room looks good although you can notice that it was not renovated for a while. But this does not bother me at all, it looks alright. What i can't understand at the same time is why the shower curtain was full of mold and disgusting. This is literally the easiest and the cheapest thing in this room to replace and gives such a huge difference to the whole experience :/ Guys please change it

Great central location and cheap for high season.
The facilities were not clean with hair, dirt and mould noticed in all shared bathrooms which was really disappointing. There was also a yellow discolouration noticed on all the towels and sheets.

The location was good.
We booked a room with kitchen but were given a room without kitchen, when I asked about it we were given the room with kitchen. The room is very small but it is doable. The kitchen is very poorly equipped and had only one knife! And even though the room has a kitchen, there is nowhere but a tiny desk with only one chair to eat at. This property does not have all the things listed so you should not expect more than a bed and a shared bathroom. The bathroom was not cleaned until I asked about it over a message (apart from the check-in and payment we did not see any staff) We stayed for over a week and we were not even given fresh towels of linen. You should lock your room at all times as the front door of the accommodation is always open. We were woken a couple of nights because of people trying to enter our room. When booking this accommodation you should also take in mind that the only form of payment they accept is cash (and they dont provide receipts).

Fantastic location close to center, beach and restaurants. Some nice and airy rooms. Easy check in, very kind staff. Lovely building with soul.
Misleading info on the booking site as there is no shared kitchen, roof top terrace to use or area to lounge. We thought we had booked a room with a kitchen so we could self cater a bit but this was not the case. Can be noisey at night. Shutters in most rooms dont close properly so its hard to sleep at night. Very small beds (double). The shared bathrooms can get dirty and both shower curtains are in URGENT need of replacement. Stairways can look dirty with hair and dust. With some care and improvement and clarity on property description this place could be amazing.
