The uniqueness of this hotel is that when you enter it, you are transported back a hundred years and feel yourself a part of the intellectual society of that time. The hotel is imbued with the spirit of aristocracy, ceilings under 4 meters, large windows, chandeliers - everything speaks for itself. At the same time very friendly young staff, attentive people. At breakfast, it's nice to watch the hustle and bustle of the big city and the streetcar 28 rushing by. Thank you for such an experiential experience!!!

All staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We received a lovely welcome on arrival and were delighted to have been upgraded to a king room. It was large and airy and so was the bathroom.
Only downside was lack of storage in the bedroom and maybe a mirror for getting ready

Located about 15 minutes walk from the river and very central for all sights.
Beautiful building and so much more personal that’s the larger hotel options
The hotel employees are all very friendly and helpful and very hard working. Good customer service, there was no need to ask for things they know what their visitors need.
Excellent breakfast and a very much welcomed welcome drink.
Can’t wait to go again, worth every single penny spent staying there.

We had a four night stay and we loved every aspect of it. The staff was extremely welcoming , explaining every detail to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The welcome drinks were much appreciated after a long day! Our room located on the 2nd floor had two small balconies overlooking a public square with a view of the castle. It was impeccable and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was always well garnished with fresh fruits and pastries, and of course an a la carte menu. The hotel is located two min. walk to the green metro line which means easy access to city center and airport. This was an extremely enjoyable stay. Worth returning to.

My second stay at 1908. A beautiful boutique hotel. Staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and modern. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower. Breakfast was great, plenty of fresh food.

The staff my respects, they were always there to help and give the best recommendations on Lisbon and the whereabouts. The room stunning, the restaurant is great! I can't wait to come back! I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many fine hotels. This hotel stands out not only for its beauty and comfort but its exceptional staff. The
manager Alex was so helpful. He even helped me plan my activités and gave me routes to explore. He recommended a guide for my trip to Sintra, Antoine who was outstanding. Catarina gave me one of the hotel umbrellas to take when I left because I had several days of rain ahead. All the dining and front office staff went out of the way to help. They all work so well together. And the breakfast was huge!! Location is on a quiet square with easy walking access to most sights. I will be back again!’
