The location was perfect right in the middle of everything without being noisy. It was also a small hotel so its not hustling with people. You get such a sense of calm being there.
The spa was also a wonderful addition.
Realistically the only thing I wasnt over the moon about was the down pillows. But I still had a wonderful nights sleep.

We loved your place! There. was a group of us and having the outside patio as well as the indoor area to gather was fun. Our room was very light, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about Casa Balthazar, from the great view from our room to the comfortable bed and pillows. The property was well kept, beautiful and in a great location. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the pool and the spa and the common areas as well. Casa Balthazar was the best hotel we stayed in during our entire trip to Portugal and Spain.
There was nothing we did not like.

We loved this hotel and stayed twice during our trip! Both rooms were large and roomy and very clean. We loved the breakfast each morning and enjoyed the pool. The private hot tub in the cottage suite was very nice too! The staff is fantastic and super helpful. Very close to so many areas and uber easily drops off at the end of the road- very short walk. Thank you for the welcome bottle of wine!!

The breakfast, both the food and the service, were fantastic. The room was also really well sized and has everything you need. The location is great, a few minutes walk from Rossio station but felt hidden away at the same time. Didn't get to use the spa because of timing but it looked fantastic and you can reserve the spa for just yourselves. Lastly when you arrive you're offered water and cake if it's during the afternoon which is freshly made each day.
The mini fridge in the room was a bit noisy at night

Beautiful property, tucked away on a quiet street in Chiado. Excellent location, walking distance to everything. Lovely staff and great breakfast room. Had a gorgeous from that was more like a huge apartment and no noise- slept incredibly. Pool and very nice common areas and bar. Cake offered every afternoon !

We loved the Duplex selection. It was beautiful and very roomy. The rooftop was a beautiful spot to enjoy a glass of wine. Everyone was lovely, helpful and great. The breakfast had enough variety along with coffee and OJ. The pool is a nice to have especially during a hot day!
As most have said, it's a little hard to find and on a side street that's pretty narrow (hard for ubers) but honestly it was a great location. Lisbon has a LOT of hills! ha

Location was great. Great breakfast.
There was a ridiculous metal crossbeam in our room that was at head level and directly between where I slept and the bathroom. I hit it with my head when I went to the bathroom during the night in the dark. It should have been padded.

The location was excellent....we had the Rossio room..loved the view...comfortable bed and excellent facilities...could not fault it. Warm pool for swimming and great health spa if needed. The staff helped us organize a TukTuk tour of the city.
