It's the second time I've given them a review, but I think it's worth it. This is my place in Lisbon. The house at this point almost feels like a home away from home. The breakfast is delicious, it's well varied and brings Portuguese cuisine on display. I cannot express how nice and helpful the staff is (cleaners, cooks, and the girls at the reception), I think they are really the main assets. I've stayed in two different rooms during my trips and both were cozy and clean. The last one had a really nice view too. The location is superb, you can walk everywhere. I'd recommend it with my eyes closed and hopefully will be back soon.

Having cycled over 7 days from Porto to Lisbon.. this property needed to be something special for us to recuperate.. we were not disappointed ! The staff were charming and ensured that both we and our rather large tandem were taken care of .. the rooms were perfect and the breakfast the best of our trip .. well located if you want to visit the beautiful City or if like us you want to enjoy small bars and restaurants a stones throw away to relax and unwind.

The breakfast was incredible. The whole facility was so accommodating for someone with Celiac disease (aka gluten free), and included fresh fruits, vegetables, and teas if you are someone with a sensitive stomach. My favorite part? The aesthetic and the incredible staff members who went out of their way on SEVERAL occasions to make sure I was safe and comfortable when I got sick mid trip. I was able to book extra nights and they helped me recover quickly and still enjoy my time there. It felt like family, which is desperately needed if you are a solo female traveler with little Portuguese speaking ability. I cannot recommend this LOCATION more, in particular. It is so aesthetically pleasing in this neighborhood and there are many delicious vegan restaurants near by, as well as coffee shops and museums.
I am not sure anything could have been better with this accommodation. Everything I needed was readily available and the staff were so incredibly kind I was amazed.

Casa do Bairro is in a very nice neighborhood, close to the main center of Lisbon. We managed to get pretty much everywhere just walking. The rooms are clean and nice, and the structure is part of the historical buildings.
The breakfast is great, and changes slightly every day. Staff is always available and polite. A very good stay.
On Thursday and Friday there was a lot of noise coming from outside, there's probably some dance club or similar not far from the hotel. No problems during the other nights.
The room was nice as said above, but it was right below the roof , and that means that a good part of it is not walkable due to the roof tilt

The bathroom was a little compact, with nowhere to to easily set down toiletries. Additionally, the room could be a little noisy at night, as people passed down the hallway.

I expected a great stay, but I did not know it was going to be fantastic. They were so accommodating even before my check-in when a friend decided to join my trip and I had to find a place for her too. The whole team went above and beyond to help me out with anything, breakfast was amazing (and varied!), location was close to everything. The room itself was gorgeous! I don't have enough compliments to give. Thank you so much, Alessandra and Alexandre (and the whole staff) for making me feel right at home! I hope to come back very soon.
Nothing related to the hotel itself, but I think it was more of the architecture of the house (and the fact that is a historical building). You can hear everything in the hallway, meaning when people get up to go to breakfast or just pass on the door, the floors creak.

Very friendly hosts , great breakfast buffet with lots of home made options , location is quite and convenient to take public transport, beautiful old house renovated
The toilet and hot water pump is very loud after using it, sound isolation to the hallway is not sufficient , you can hear everyone passing by , and one night there were some women talking very loudly till midnight, we couldnt sleep
