The location is perfect - next to the metro.
The apartment is very clean and the living room is wide, comfortable. You can also find alcohol bar - like the travelers' heritage :)
It was a little bit cold for me :)
And I miss the kitchen and refrigerator also.

Excellent apartment located in a nice area of Lisbon. The metro station (green line) is just in front of the door, so in 20 minutes you are in the city center. Although the bathrooms are shared, they are very very clean. The cleaning and the change of towels are made every day. The room we had was very comfortable. The host is very prompt and helpful. Self check-in and check-out.

the way to find the place and enter and leave is all done on your phone,so older travellers will find it extremely difficult to navigate the links etc.we had to watch the street door for someone to exit and then accost them to let us in and this happened twice

This place is very convenient and felt like home. It is also very clean and in superb location (20m to metro station). It also has very nice and authentic living room with fast internet making it suitable for remote work.

It was a very beautiful apartment with funky wooden elevator. There was much attention to detail. The owner was very helpful and prompt with his responses. The fruit stand outside the front door had amazing strawberries and papaya! The metro entry is is very close which made getting to Gaspar house very easy!

The location was fantastic. Gaspar House is outside of the historic center of Lisbon, so you can't walk anywhere that you might want to visit easily, BUT it is literally 10 steps (we counted) to the metro station. The Lisbon metro system is fantastic and easy for tourists to navigate. In addition, Gaspar himself is a gem. He made himself available for all the crazy questions I kept sending him and I knew, if we really needed something above and beyond, we could count on him to help us. The bed was very comfortable and the room in general and shower were pleasant. We enjoyed Gaspar House so much that we booked it twice - for the four nights at the beginning of our Portugal tour and for the last night before we flew out.
This is not really a problem, but for people who are reading reviews and noting that people in the past mentioned breakfast - Gaspar House doesn't have a breakfast option anymore. There is a cafe in one direction called Pipe Coffee and a little pastry shop in the other direction. In addition, right next door is a fruit and vegetable vendor for those who are interested. I know this doesn't replicate a full breakfast that many tourists are used to, but I just wanted to mention it.

Excellent communication with Gaspar and great information on restaurants and things to do. Out room was clean and although it was a bit small it provided everything we needed. The place was very nice.
The only thing we didnt like was the lat you needed your phone to get in, what would happen if you ran out of battery. I prefer a proper key or keycard. Saying that it all worked out fine.

Clean spacious room with close access to the metro station. Also, there is a paid parking nearby. Close to the airport as well. There was a stack of strong alcoholic drinks in the guest room (for free I guess cause some drinks were open), though we didn't drink it was nice to see such an offering.

Gaspar is fantastic - he knows so much about his beloved Lisbon and gives great recommendations. The apartment is furnished with a lot of taste; the metro is at your doorstep. Gaspar is currently changing the system to self-check-in and there wont be breakfasts anymore. But Im sure hell still be happy to give recommendations; and he has an extensive list on google he will share with you.
For me, the bed was a bit too hard - but this is different from person to person.

Gaspar was an amazing host and really made it feel like a home away from home, he was so interesting and helpful in explaining what to see and how to get around Lisbon easily.
It was a great location with metro right outside and airport 10 mins away. The beds and room were so comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
There was nothing I could say I didn't like.
