loved the room with the balcony and view. loved the welcome letter with dessert and port! Loved the staff - especially the concierge Alberto (I believe his name was) - he SAVED us when our tour was cancelled the morning of. He found us another tour operator in no time - SAVED us! So grateful to him. Loved the breakfast. LOVED the rooftop bar - Alex was our waiter most evenings - great guy. This hotel has a great location and friendly staff.
I didn't know how to operate the coffee machine :( directions weren't very clear to me (I'm American) as I've never used a machine like that. Other than that - everything was great! Had a tough time with the in room safe but staff explained it to me clearly in person.

We stayed here on the front end of our trip and loved our room. The last night of our trip coming back into Lisbon, we had a room that was not as nice.

The view from our 7th floor patio up and away from the crowds was the place we would hang for about 3 hours late afternoon to watch sun set against the colorful buildings and castle across the way before heading out to dinner each night. The bar down the hall got used to our daily refreshment order. Chiado is a great central location to walk to everything. Staff were so cordial and helpful. Best tip was to walk up the street to the square with trees with 2 restaurants with outdoor seating and jazz musicians busking. It was quiet in the square across from the church that lost its roof in the 1750s earthquake.

Mold in shower bottom, water in shower spilled out to bathroom and inside shower door bottom needs repair. Breakfast eggs horrible and bacon was raw.bread with no butter and overall just ok

The breakfast was great as was the roof top bar. The location is really hard to beat. We liked the hotel so much, we stayed here twice on our September vacation Portugal.
