We like the spa facilities, rooftop bar and restaurant its location
We arrived early hoping to get in our room a bit earlier and were told they would try, but we still didnt get in till 4:15 pm which after starting our trip at 4 am in the morning left us very tired and sitting in the bar, a little too long.

The hotel was right in the heart of Lisbon so it was the perfect location for sightseeing. It was clean, tidy well managed and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. The breakfast was delicious too and there was so much choice.
If I had to mention one thing that i didnt like then it would probably be that the room layout was a bit awkward, especially with the large divide in the room and the column.

I stayed at this hotel because of the location (around the corner from my previous 3 night stay) and the facilities - especially a pool. It was a very classy place and I'd stay again if I return to Lisbon.

Disappointing
Location
We booked the unique room , 403, because it was one of the few rooms with a bath. The description, unique, caused us some concern because that type of label usually means it is not your typical room and that is usually a negative. The room was like a large garage with a very small window that let in very little light. The furnishings were sparse. It was far from a normal hotel bedroom. It did have a large jacuzzi bath which was the primary reason for taking this room. When we tried to fill it the control between the shower and the tap did not work as water only came out of the shower head and not out of the tap. It would have taken a good hour to fill the bath. We called reception and a gentleman turned up and agreed there was a problem and called maintenance. He knocked again a few moments later to say maintenance had purposely adjusted the tap control so the bath filled slowly. Apparently it had previously overflowed because the bath filled too quickly. Needless to say we never used the bath which was the only reason we went for this unique room. Interestingly the basin was so small at about 45cm wide but with a depth of only 5cm the sort of tray like basin you see in a restaurant toilet, very trendy but not very practicable. Also only one half drained so there was always water in the other half. All very disappointing and expensively so compared to clients who went to nicer rooms with showers.
