breakfast was really good, very close to many areas I needed to go, taxi just outside so it was nice for traveling, shuttle bus for sister hotel, Aquarium close, huge room!

Overall, the property was lovely. We had an excellent room which was well-equipped and very comfortable, and the bathroom was also quite large and very clean compared to what you normally get in a hotel. The staff were generally very friendly and accommodating, and the breakfast was consistently good every day with some variety in the menu. While there is no beach at the property per se, they have a shuttle which connects you to a sister property with a beautiful beach and it's only about 5 minutes away. We never had any issues getting to the beach during our stay. There are also nice gym facilities which we found useful.
We didn't encounter any major issues, although we did try to book an excursion through the hotel and ended up having to re-plan our day the day before the trip was supposed to happen as it had been overbooked. This was a bit frustrating as we had already paid a deposit, but we were able to replan our trip independently and the hotel happily returned the deposit that we had paid, so everything ended well.

We loved our stay. We had a beautiful sea facing unit with a big balcony. There were lots of options in the breakfast buffet. The staff were friendly. The all-day shuttle to Cape Panwa Hotel is a huge bonus! You can enjoy the beautiful private beach and its facilities, with the exception of the main pool. We especially enjoyed the location, it’s away from the chaos of phuket, yet still has a 7-11 store,a few restaurants, shops and massage centers. The seaside street food market was wonderful,you can simply join the locals and enjoy your food on a bench by the water.

Very friendly and attempted staff. Manager Nu is very helpful. Great sea view from the room and the most amazing private beach! I walked at the beach every time when I was there. I did some beach cleanup ad well. I feel so peaceful and relaxed there. Phuket Aquarium is right next to the hotel. Not a big one, but you can see some sea turtles there. Some local Thai restaurants nearby. I recommend “Sawasdee”, there’s good food with live music!
A bit far from the airport. Need to plan your trip well when you arrange shuttle service.

Slightly far from a lot of things so be prepared to pay more for grab ride. Best quiet area and to the left and right of hotel is small beach area. Ramps to get to our second story room, no elevator but that was fine with us. Room and bed was comfortable. Loved having a small kitchen and washer machine.

It was our 2nd stay at Kantary Phuket; it feels like a home away from home! It works great for our small family; a 'kid friendly' environment. The beach is perfect for our 15-month-old son.

Kantary bay is a lovely hotel in a quieter part of Phuket. Great location for restaurants and bars. Two pools to choose from and access to a sandy beach via a shuttle bus service. Staff are always welcoming, friendly and helpful.
We would love direct access to a sandy beach but that is not possibly here. Cape Panwa hotel beach is a shuttle bus ride away or a steep climb over the hill.

I can't say enough about the quality of our experience at this location, but let me try to briefly cover the fundamentals: 1. All of the staff were exceptional, including reception, housekeeping, and buffet 2. Our room was spotless clean and very comfortable. We had a private balcony the could accommodate sunbathing if you can handle the tropical sun. 3. Hotel location is a 15 minute taxi to Walking Street (1,000 THB round trip) 4. Landscaping is the best I've ever experienced. They have an on-site arboretum where they grow new plants.
Everything was perfect, as is. I would have to think too hard to find something to complain about.

Breakfast was just enough. The hotel location is fine if you don’t like crowds, the beach is definitely the bonus-no seasonal swell so it’s swimmable the whole year around.
The bedroom blinds allow too much light into the room, block out curtains would be much more comfortable. Air cons seem to be tired and not performing very well-they should be replaced in my opinion.

We have stayed at the Kantar Bay Hotel for the fourth time and it is always a complete delight. The hotel is cozy, with its own special atmosphere. It has its own vintage touch. Great breakfasts, very calm, unobtrusive, but at the same time very friendly staff. I would especially like to mention the cleaning ladies on the 4th floor. They are just angels. And the girls at the reception - they all speak English well, are professionals, very hospitable. I would especially like to mention Kik and Jingreed. They are really helpful. The rooms are clean, cozy, comfortable beds and pillows, soft bed linen. I enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony every day. Despite the fact that the hotel does not have its own beach, this does not affect the vacation at all. Firstly, the hotel has two swimming pools, and secondly, there is a shuttle bus that takes guests to the beach of the partner hotel
