Breakfast is AMAZING! Amazing food, coffee, and service. Cynthia is wonderful. Rooms are beautiful and the whole hotel surroundings pool, spa, shops, etc. are bespoke. Place is absolutely breathtaking! Oh and the restaurant food is great. Reagan is an amazing server and the burger is so yummy!
The hotel has a lot of cats - currently 12 of them I was told. I wasn't a fan -- but, I'm not a cat person. Some people might think they're cute...just seemed so strange to me for a hotel to have them living at the property and I didn't like how they came up to me while I was eating. But, overall....the place is wonderful and I'll make it my home base every time I travel to Uganda.

We were given an upgrade and we were very thankful for that.
The telephones in the apartment were not working but its not a big issue, we were happy in general.

Good location, very comfy bed and good AC in room . Balcony and fridge
Breakfast very good ( buffet - a lot of choices) , good restaurants on site . Entertainment in the evening, live music band etc .good size swimming pool. Definitely stay here again if back to Kampala

The location and enthusiasm and helpfulness of some of the staff.
There seems to be a lack of consistency in terms of quality service and facilities. I had a better overall experience during my last stay. The check-in went smoother the first time I stayed there. I do not understand why they needed to photocopy my passport again when I just stayed there 2 nights ago. Also, they should inform housekeeping which rooms has guest about to check out, so that they clean these room after the guest has left. The room I stayed in this time did not have hangers and the fridge did not work. I asked for hangers over the phone but did not arrive, I had to go down to the reception to ask again.
At the swimming pool I was asked if I was done using my towel, when it was obvious that I havent started swimming yet.
