The whole compound has a serene and ideal oasis escape from the hustle and bustle of Kampala, without having to travel far out of the city. The staff are truly angels - they make the icing on the cake.
The pool could have been cleaner. But it is cleaned in the mornings, so might be in need of a clean later in the day too (?) - That is the only improvement I could find.

A calm quiet location and villa. Had toaster, microwave, stove, fridge as advertised.
No breakfast was served during my stay I had to cook. Super market to buy groceries etc requires transport not an easy walk. Need a good no stick pan and a non stick spatula. To make cooking easier. Need own transport to really unlock the potential of this location.

Thank you to Shane and his lovely team for a wonderful stay. The rooms are clean and the grounds are super well maintained. While we didnt get in the pool, one was available. We felt very safe and secure. This is my second time staying and I would definitely recommend the place to others!

The accommodation was very quiet and very well maintained. The place was a small hidden oasis in the middle of Kampala. The staff and also the owners were very helpful and communicative.

I loved everything there! It's a beautiful family-run hotel and very well-maintained. I felt like I stayed at home, Emily & Shain are the most welcoming, friendly, and helpful people. The hotel territory and swimming pool are extremely clean and I enjoyed every minute I spent there. I certainly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment.

the place is great, but a bit old school and the bungalows are a bit dilapidated. windows are leaky so mosquitos and ants can easily enter.
weird noises from old fridges and electronic equipment, low to no water pressure.

Shane is very hospitable and nice. I really love those rabbits happily running around the garden. And some of them not afraid of people that you can easily pet them. They are super cute. And the big dog is also friendly. There is a nice and clear pool that clean twice a day, would definitely bring bikini next time. The room is big, clean with taste of Africa style. There is nice sofa,TV, kitchen in the room also. You can tell the owner really put his heart in this villa. It is queit and private. The bed is so much nicer than others that I had tried in Kampala. There are many small details I really like, eg, the decoration like curtains, table cloth, bed sheet etcs., are all afrian style. Luxuriant flowers and plants all around, you could actually slow down your pace and be calm in this small heavan and forget all those traffic and dirty dust in Kampala. I will bring my own shampoo next time as the the bathroom only have soap.
