The female member of staff on reception when we checked in and out was lovely. Our toilet was leaking but was fixed really quickly.
Even though we didn't partake, the sitting area/bar had board games for you to play. That's a great idea for a wet day.
Rooms were a little dated but advised that they are going to be given a makeover soon.
On the first morning for breakfast we went down to the restaurant and waited to be seated, as per the sign. We stood there around 5 minutes. In the end, we took a seat. The person who was seating people was also the chef. The wait didn't need to be that long if there was another member of staff. The breakfast itself was OK. It was more greasy that I would normally have it. So, I didn't eat much.

No advance Warning a lift was out of order. I have reduced mobility and was put on the side with no lift. If I'd have known I'd have asked for the side with a working lift or a low floor.
Breakfast on Monday morning wasn't buffet style and it seemed chaotic with only 1 member of staff working
Bedroom was comfortable but no shelf in bathroom or bedside tables

Everytime Ive been the water is either scolding hot or absolutely freezing cold so getting a shower is impossible and the cups in my room had visible dirt in them like leftover milk marks on glass cups

The staff were lovely do anything for you, pool was good felt abit on the cool side but daughter loved it ( and u can connect you mobile up to it and play ur tunes also change the led lighting )

Not to far out really 5 mins from north pier but tram stop right outside nearly and regular 6 ish day rider well worth it , breakfast was ok full English help urself buffet style , raged of toast n cereals tea coffee juice water fruit loads of channels on tv , never used the bar so cant comment wouldnt stay again tho
Stinks of damp, mattresses need upgrading , by the sounds of the whole building needs the flooring fixed all u can hear is the very loud creaking floors, walls/ceilings are paper thin u can hear every word like upstairs is sat in ur bathroom , toilet/ shower couldnt swing a cat ( might be different if in bigger room ), clearers need to look up when cleaning n down when hoovering thick cobwebs in shower and about inch of dust on shower head , edge of the carpets along skirting boards filthy thick with dust, if on the larger size two wouldnt get in the bed and defo u cant have a shower and turn around without knocking the adjustable handle off with ya arm or ya arse so u turn back on and scolds you ( once u get it hot )
If on the larger size u cant wipe your arse with out burning urself on towel rail (no joke) , showers in swimming area well it would be better to say the water doesnt work or there is no shower and freezing water , changing rooms freezing

Staff was nice and hotel was nice too
I paid on booking.com (a lot more than Expedia )to get there and it was freezing I told staff a few times but heating was just boosted and still cold in my room other side was too hot mine was cold

Absolutely nothing.
Disgustingly rude staff, appalling service, run down building, urine stained mattresses in the corridors, pubic hairs in shower, water damage in the ceiling, lights not working, awful smell.

Was next to the sea
It was very dirty in our room and hallways so we didnt use the swimming pool or stay for breakfast! It really put us off. Its really old, ceilings rotten, had brown marks & dirt all over the room. Dirty windows & mirrors so not cleaned b4 arrival. Shower was full of mold so we didnt use that either. The only thing the bed lining & towels seemed clean. Have more photos which show how rotten our room was.
