Not the cleanest it needs a full pest control clean my girlfriend had nothing but bug bites on her after we had slept there we not hwpoy about that at all we hadn't make sure we got a good clean off when we got home and make sure our clothes decontaminated we will not be returning

Mold all over shower and walls Toilet was screwed to a plank of wood on the floor strange smells comming from wood panels on wall (randomly) holes all over walls half a mirror at waist height (strange) nothing matched i.e. bedding.
Everything. The whole place is rotten!!!!

The owners were really friendly. Got upgraded from a single room to double room, which was nice of them. Bed was really comfy. Could see the tower from my room. Great location for me.

The property was cheap
Strict rules about visitors can't even have someone inside the room for 5 minutes without booking being revoked and forced to pay 50, you have to share a toilet (which doesn't lock) and shower with the other rooms as each room doesn't have it's own only a sink, rooms are very small, quite dirty and smell had to spray down with perfume each time I went in and I could hear other guests fighting and arguing throughout my stay

Nothing it was a disgusting and a disgrace.
The rooms are disgusting. They are bad and horrible. Theres no hot water.
My carer couldnt sleep because of the noise. She reported it but despite the manager coming over to speak to the guests it made no difference my carer couldnt sleep. My carer told the manager about the noise. I cant believe the manager told the guests in room 2 that my carer was on her own she could have been hurt. The guests were making a lot of noise still after the manager spoke to them.

I booked 2 double rooms with shared bathrooms. They couldnt find the one of the keys so I couldnt sleep on the same floor as my carer. Thats poor management theyve known in plenty of time we were coming and they couldnt find the keys its ridiculous
My carer had to share a bathroom with other guests and it was disgusting and so was the toilet. The toilets in Arcades are miles better. We had to go out to Arcades and other places to use the toilets and wash our hands. Weve got no hot water.
Saturday 6th April
I rang the manager for the 7th time in 20 minutes at 8:55pm I spoke to the manager for 2 minutes.
I said we are going home tomorrow. He asked me whats the problem.
I told him that my carer cant sleep. He said we should have reported it.
I said my carer did report it she couldnt sleep.
He said he came round and they (guest) apologised and that was that.
I said no they carried on my carer couldnt get to sleep.
He said we should of reported it.
I was not happy with his comments so I said she did report it and why do you think she didnt get any sleep
He said did they?
I said yes she was tired when she came to see me this morning and they are at again tonight.
He said we should of reported it.
I told him Im not going to argue with him and that we are going tomorrow
He was asking why whats the problem? She should have reported it.
The manager is ridiculous and to blame my carer is stupid.
I will be making sure other people dont come to this rubbish hotel and I hope they suffer

I liked the location of this hotel as it is very close to local cafes shops and amusement arcades
I was extremely disappointed with my room as me and my family was cold all through the night as the heating wasn't on the pillows was extremely hard and in the bathroom the light was very dull and there was a live moth on the wall in the shower and I also found 2 bed bugs 1 was on a towel and one was in the middle of the bed on the left side that bit my partner's leg so I was so annoyed that we checked out the following day so we never stayed the 2 nights I paid in total 102.00 pounds in total for this hotel that didn't meet my expectations and I won't be staying here again and would advise all travellers to steet clear of this hotel thank you for ruining my holiday.

The good things about the Belroy are that it's in a great central location, the wifi is excellent, and the manager is absolutely lovely. My window looked onto the street and my shower room also had a window, which was nice. The bed was comfortable enough.
I had a small single room with a very awkward layout. The end of the bed is against the table and there's no headboard, so it's impossible to sit up in bed to watch TV or read. The carpet was badly stained, it really needs to be steam cleaned.

Absolutely filthy room. Needed a good clean. I had to buy wipes and clean it. Bed linen was filthy and on shocking condition. It was more like a hostel for homeless people. I had to phone police in early hours of morning when wakened by woman screaming for help.
