Been going this hotel for about 7 years. We find it relaxing and friendly
The double doors need to be mended should be automatic . Few jobs need doing in rooms but I know it’s a work in progress does not stop our stay

Neat clean room. Stayed for 1 night to see a show at winter gardens which was about a 10 min walk. Nice sea front view for breakfast which was good

Nice room, great clean en-suite with large shower!
Nice breakfast and staff.
Easy to park and walk into town (quiet car park at Easter).
Room very hot when we arrived but OK once radiator turned down and window opened.
Parking £5 per 24 hrs.

The room was not worth £215 for 1 night
The cleanliness, dead flies on the window sill. Morning staff wasn't very helpful, Katie the night before was great

The Front of House girl was very nice, friendly and went up and above to help us.
When I contacted the hotel they said yes we accept dogs, however on arrival I mentioned that I had dogs and was presented with a list of what you can and can't do with the dogs. Wherever or whenever we left the room the dogs had to accompany us, if we went downstairs into the bar the dogs had to be with us. Breakfast tge following morning we were told the dogs had to be with us also which I found a bit strange as some customers don't like animals being around foodstuffs. We weren't allowed to leave the dogs in the room at any point. The room we were given was right on the back noisy street with trucks and ambulances going past every half hour.
In the bar and restaurant we were informed that we were only allowed to dot on tables that had a paw on it being the dog friendly zones, however, when we tried to get a seat in the front room they were occupied by guests who did not have pets.
With only one staff member running the reception and the bar the service was very slow and the food was very high priced for what you got.
