I wasn’t particularly keen on the dirty carpet, bugs in the room and the toe nail that I stepped on. I was also mortified by what appeared to be blood stains on the shower curtain. Poor show for an establishment that hosts weddings.

The water in the swimming pool was very bad. After my kids bathed, I found small bad bacteria bites on their bodies. I could only swim for 1 hour, which was completely unfair

Just like its name, very grand on the inside.
Only disliked the smell of someone smoking weed. It was that strong I could smell it in my room.

Hotel was in a good area reception staff was friendly and helpful
There was no food on at the restaurant they only catered for 10 people so was disappointed as we had to get a taxi into center to get a meal
Breakfast was a disaster not enough food available people were waiting for food for 15 mins so we justbhad cereals it was terrible they must have known how many were booked in. Eventually the manager came in and tried to sort it out
When I checked out the manager was on the desk and he apologised for what happened he said there had been lots of complaints and he was going to deal with it

Nothing comes to mind.
You can tell that once upon a time this was a nice hotel, but it has not been updated for a long time. The decor is dated, and the furniture in the rooms is old. The bed is noisy and you can hear everyone toss and turn at night, due to the noisy beds and paper thin walls. The carpets are heavily stained. The windows in many of the room are screwed shut and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, so this is unbearable on hot days.
On Friday evening at 7pm we went to the restaurant for dinner. There was no staff around so we wondered into the dining area and was meet by the chef, I think, and was informed that they were closing as everyone that had pre-booked for dinner had eaten. Peculiar way to run restaurant.

Disappointing
There were hairs left in the bath. Poor security. No one on reception and doors left open, so anyone could walk in if the street. No printed dinner menus. When asked, a member of staff started to hand write a menu, offering one starter, one dessert and limited choice of mains. All 5 of us (3 rooms) went out to eat. Breakfast was not ready by the stated time.
