This place aint the same since sue and Jim had it. They didnt offer any breakfast. We booked for 2 nights and after 1 night we had a knock on the door reminding us we had to checkout by 10.30 and we had only stopped 1 night they dint seem to know what was going on. The bar has been shut and is now used to house a dog and for the lads to play on their PlayStation. We have been coming here for years but its not the same since new owners took it on. The dust behind the TV was about 6 months worth and the toilet was leaking onto the bathroom floor so had to put towels down. Wont be going back. Sorry

Friendly owners and hotel was very warm.
Initially looked clean and tidy but silverfish everywhere, filthy onsuit shower an sink, old biscuits left on floor from previous guests that my 1yr old found and started to eat! Stains on bedding, we didn't stay our full stay and left after 1 night as my older daughter was physically sick from how unhygienic it was. Photos look so much better than what it actually looks like. Not recommended. Pictures I took don't show the extent of the dirt

Noisy beds, hard and a bit uncomfortable.
Noisy inappropriate guests next door, even after knocking on them and explaining there is kids that can hear they carried on and I think it's disgusting disrespectful behaviour towards other guests specially the children.
Doors constantly banging around the hotel. No one was around to speak to about any problems.

Sea view.
This hotel seems to be in a period of transition so this review may not be representative or helpful for future bookings.
However 1) no servicing of rooms 2) the proposed leisure area/lounge was occupied by a large dog so was unavailable. 3) a fair distance from 'centre' i.e. the Tower, though not a problem. Able to walk or take tram or bus.
Based on the above, the price was too high.

So so welcoming, we arrived early and the team could not do enough to help us. Sheena prepared us hot drinks and welcomed us and my 5 year old, nothing was too much.
The property does not serve alcohol but are very flexible about bringing your own or supporting there close business friends next door, this was not a problem for us at all.

Great location with sea view. Room was beautifully decorated and very spacious. Plenty of tea / coffee facilties. Warm and cosy. Staff were friendly and on hand if needed.
A mirror in the bedroom would have been nice and no breakfast facilities provided.
