Wonderful
We had a fantastic stay. The staff were amazing, the room was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The restaurant staff were very helpful and the food was great. The free bar was amazing and the entertainment topped our stay.
The only fault was the lift broke

Very Poor
Staff are exceptional. Friendly and accomadating.
I chose this hotel as it said it was disability accessible. I booked 2 double rooms and paid before arrival. When I arrived, I had 1 double 1 single. We came to Blackpool as my mum is on palliative care with limited time. She wanted to see the lights one last time and go to my Dad's ashes, so an important visit. As she is on palliative care, she's in a wheelchair which I explained to reception. My husband is also disabled with limited mobility. He is 6ft 3 and 19 stone and unable to sleep in a single bed (why I booked 2 doubles) my mum couldn't be left unattended, 1 room was left side of hotel and the other room was right side, was told I couldn't have 2 rooms near or at least on same side as hotel was fully booked (turkey & tinsel) so they upgraded the single to a triple and we made the decision to stay in one room, as it was too much for me to go into 2 lifts everytime I needed to attend one of them. The one lift (left side) could accommodate the wheelchair. However, the other lift (right side) could fit wheelchair without the footplates only. This lift we needed to get to our room. The other lift took us to the dining hall and ramp to go in and out of the hotel. The ramp will not accommodate a mobility scooter as its like an s shape and to narrow for the scooter to go around so my husband either had to use the steps and walk around the hotel. The door to room 88 is far too narrow, and you can't get the wheelchair in or out of room. I ended up taking the wheelchair to the door and carrying / shuffling / dragging my poor mum into the room folding wheelchair to get through the door and using it to manaovre around a very small room, the bathroom had a shower that had a step up so we couldn't shower her and ended up giving her a strip wash on the toilet. The bathroom at a guess was 5 ft x 5 feet with a shower toilet and sink. As you can imagine, not only a struggle to even dress and wash a disabled person.

We loved our room it was nice and spacious. We didn't exactly try the breakfast we either over slept and missed it or we were already up and out exploring Blackpool. But the location was brilliant because it was near all the sights the arcades food places. It also had good entertainment on at night times and its the first time I ever played bingo. We will definatly be back. The staff were all welcoming and nice could not fault any of it.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

Good
Excellent location, very close to shops and morrisons. Only a short walk to the sea front. Lift in hotel and entertainment with bingo every night. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size, clean and plenty of storage spaces.
The only small negative was it's like a maze inside the hotel. But it was our first time there so if we go again we will have a better understanding on the layout. But the lift made it easier and quicker to to get to our room.

Booked 3 double rooms all 3 different with 1 that couldnt swing a cat in and then 1 with 2 double beds. No hairdryer and in this day and age only 2 plug socketd very awkward to get at. Our small double bed had big lump in the middle so rolled to edge of bed both sides not comfortable
