Absolutely fantastic. Roy and Tina are the perfect hosts! Beds were comfortable. Room and bathroom lovely and clean. Breakfast fantastic. Couldnt fault a thing. Tram stop a couple of minutes walk. Fab, quiet location. Looking forward to our next break here next year.

We booked three rooms for a family break. A really friendly welcome and brilliant breakfast. Roy and Tina were happy to give us advice on restaurants and attractions.
We liked coming back for a couple of drinks in the bar in the evening and the fact that the family room had a dividing wall so felt like two rooms. My daughter liked that she had her own TV and dvds were there to use.
Only a 3min walk to the Cliffs tram stop and free street parking.

Small shower and was very conscious about flooding the bathroom because the showroom curtain would not stay in the shower tray.

From the moment we arrived, Roy made us feel very welcome. The room was very clean and had tea coffee topped up every day and clean towels. The breakfasts were great. I would definitely go back and stay it was a great weekend

but you can jump the tram or walk (miner dislike)

Roy and Tina the owners were very friendly. Very welcoming on arrival and present throughout our stay without being intrusive. Attentive at breakfast making sure all the guests were well fed and looked after.

Everything,the hosts,the great breakfast,small walk to a great pub the Gynn,that served great meals,short walk to a tram stop
Unfortunately we were overlooking the side of next door property,which wasnt a pretty site

This is the 4th time of us staying at the Middleton, the owners are lovely and so is the breakfast, the rooms are always clean and tidy, beds are comfortable and we are always made to feel very welcome.
