Amazing view to the castle. Great service by Ethan. Amazing breakfast experience. The room was always nicely cleaned and the location of the hotel is great. It was also great to have some break from the city and enjoy the pool and sauna.

Breakfast was ample and lots of choice.
Room was a great size and beds were comfortable. Brilliant black out curtains and very quiet considering the main road location.
Reception staff and serving staff were friendly and helpful.
Our room was refreshed each day which was lovely.
The Grassmarket in my opinion is the best location, safe and family friendly into the night. Lots of cafes and restaurants to chose from and literally around the corner was the ‘Vennel’ the Museum and the Royal Mile.
You need more coffee machines available.
Also would massively benefit from some coat hooks in the room. We had a wardrobe but was full for four of us for four days and we had lots of outer wear options and no where to hang them.

Great location. Handy car parking on site. Spacious room.
Not much atmosphere, a bit on the bland side. Slightly too firm bed. Overheated during the night. Puzzled why we were given a disability friendly room with no hooks for towels.

Only problem is the noise on the street but that is the trade for this prime location. We were steps from everything and staff was outstanding.

Great location, comfortable bed, two chairs and a little table and also a desk with a chair. Good provisions as well.
Stairs to reach reception but staff offered to carry bags. HOT, HOT, HOT inside and no individual temperature controls in room.
