Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Having 2 chairs was nice. Great to be able to open the window. We ate in the bistro and had drinks in the bar. Free parking was very good.
Toilet flush was faulty in one of our rooms. My granddaughters single room was away from the other two, so she felt rather isolated.
The breakfast was too expensive. For all 6 of us breakfast would have cost almost £100 !

It’s nice that Portobello Beach is within walking distance. Also, there is a direct bus to the city center, and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.
The hotel is a bit old, but very comfortable and clean.

All members of staff whom we encountered were professional, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Meals were good quality and good value - not just breakfasts but also dinners in the restaurant.
The buffet breakfast is good quality and very efficient, However, the breakfast experience would be more relaxing if it could be possible to have table service in the traditional way.

Well, firsty there was a lovely gesture by Taylor - who I unfortunately wasn’t able to thank in person. They put some balloon and a banner with a card congratulating us on our celebration hotel stay!
Very lovely to walk into that.
The hotel could do with s refurbish as the room we stayed in felt dreary musty and old fashioned.
The bed was uncomfortable as they were two singles pushed together with no decorative cushions or throws as in the picture.
The view from the window was not nice.
The shower curtain the bathroom was so smelly we had to spray perfume on it and keep the door shut!

The neatness and cleanliness. The staff smiling on treating you. The room was very clean and Bed linen clean. Bathroom clean . No mold. Towels good quality. And a big thankyou for the non slip mat for the bath
Eggs .. the breakfast was a little disappointing. I know you’re catering for quite a number of people but the bacon was a little tough and the eggs ! Would if Bern better used in discus throwing . My first morning I could not cut into the white . It was tough and the you’ll was congealed . Not good ..

Facilities were clean and up to par, could use an upgrade definitely but value for money. Staff were great, friendly but needed more training as they didn’t really know how to make cocktails properly. Menu was limited but acceptable for a bite to eat. Have to say the included breakfast was the best part absolutely delicious.

Pool and tennis courts.
Room size great - nice to have a proper bed for our son rather than a sofa bed.
Breakfast ok, although some of the food felt like it had been left out too long (especially the cooked tomatoes!).
New lady working on reception was really lovely.
Staff member in the restaurant (evening) was exhausting with all his talking and story telling.
Food in the restaurant not great. Garlic bread was burnt. Curry from the 'special curry menu' was quite average. If you have a specific curry menu (and we're told a chef who specialises in Indian food) we would expect it to be really good.
(We didn't mention the food at the time because we were already worn out by the member of staff's talking!)
Pillows far too hard and high.
Hotel a little tired in places.
Tricky to manage the heating in the room, but we got by!
