Absolutely exceeded expectations! Our room was huge and had a beautiful view over the park. Everyone working at The Black Ivy was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

I have stayed here before in the exact same room so I knew how it would be but the food in the restaurant was much worse than previously.
The food was poor in the evening but breakfast was good

A very friendly and relaxing place to stay in a quiet neighbourhood. Very confortable beds and room, large spotless bathroom and delicious breakfasts.

the bathroom felt very luxurious with lovely smelling toiletries, sparkling fittings, huge mirrors and an excellent shower
I had to climb on the desk to reach the pulley for the blind and clamber over the bed to get the hairdryer off the shelf - the room is not designed for people under 5'8"!!

my room was at the top of 4 flights of stairs, i beleive there was a lift so if you have access needs - it is worth checking room location
