The loft is well located, is spotlessly clean and very quiet. Well furnished. The Royal Mile is just around the corner and the car park at Waverley Station is handy.
A couple of negatives- the access to the sleeping area is restricted. Although the details stated limited headroom, visitors have to mount a platform via a couple of steps to get into bed. There is no space to place a suitcase in the sleeping area so we had to get dressed in the living room. Theres no dressing table or mirror with access to a socket for the hairdryer. The shower tray is very slippery so we had to place a towel in the base. Saw no mention of these negatives by other visitors so if you can accept these then go ahead and book.

Th e location was very good. The unit was bright and comfortable. There was a very popular bistro and pizza restaurant right outside the door.
The bed area in the loft was very squishy and the pull out was not comfortable at all.

Close to all public transport. 1 minute off the mile. Close to all your tour departure points. Everything you need for a long stay except a microwave as advertised in the unit. This is our second stay here and still good. Great that you use codes to get into building and units and not have to worry about key.

Great location just off the Royal Mile and a short walk from the train station. Loved having laundry in the unit and the place was a great size for 2 people. We would stay here again.
The pics in the listing are a little misleading, as its difficult to tell which unit you are reserving, and the units are not identical. That being said, we were satisfied with our unit even though it was not the unit we expected.
Luggage storage was available on the day we checked in/out, but its a very small space shared with other units. We werent able to fit our luggage in the storage space on check out day.

Super clean with everything anyone needs. Perfect location, and smack between two of the best restaurants in Edinburgh. Appreciated extra towels for family of 4. Wonderful to have storage for luggage before check in.
Wish we got the room shown in photo with fabulous windows! Really though, nothing wrong with rooms that we had. Wish that I had seen the QR reader which would get me instructions on operating heaters and washing machine. QR was on framed info panel but was by the television near the floor, which was the last place we would look for it as we were not in Edinburgh to watch tv! I think that frame should be in kitchen countertop or the dining table. Just a thought.
