The view from the room of Edinburgh castle was lovely ,although we had to pay for an upgrade to have a decent view, complimentary fruit basket and chocolates were a very nice touch also the hand written card celebrating our 45 wedding anniversary was lovely.
Chose to eat in Mondobo the on site restaurant which with hindsight was a mistake.Had to ask if the vegetable soup was a cold version as it was barely warm, next course was not much better, didn't make a fuss over main course but would not eat there again.

It is not luxurious at all. People automatically associate Hilton with luxury and this hotel is like a premier inn

Staff were very accommodating- particularly the guest supervisor (who’s name I forgot to get). Friendly and willing to help!
Our first room upgraded to an accessible room automatically? But staff were more than happy to move us to a different room!

Location was great, the restaurant and breakfast very good.
The room however was a bit stuffy, there was a noticeable lack of fresh air and no window could be open. If I was to stay for a second night I would have asked to be moved. Also the ironing board was unusable, the dryer was useless(noise but no power at all) and I did found an item of clothing that wasn’t mine in the closet!

The hotel was very welcoming . Staff were lovely . The beds were so comfortable , amazing pillows that you just sank into at the end of a busy days exploring .
Everything was fabulous , there was nothing we disliked .

I like that it was walking distance from the bus stops in to the centre of town and it was handy for what I was doing for record store day. The dinner we had was excellent but very filling.
I couldn’t see a fault with the hotel.

The bed wad uncomftable and made sounds
All in all never gonna be with double tree .i have been staying in your facilities but both chelsea and edinburg eap was a big disappointment
