It was clean and quiet with a view of the Ocean Terminal. Busses stopped directly in front of the hotel. Shopping center access also.

Room was very neat and clean. It had everything 2 people need. Breakfast was a very nice bonus. Some people mentioned lines to breakfast, but staff warned us to come down a little earlier in the morning, and we did not find any queue before 9 am, although hotel was fully booked

Hotel location was good for visiting Leith, buses and the Shopping Centre, also just a short walk to the bars, restaurants etc which was fab. We did not eat at the property but did use the vending machine for water which was useful. Our room was clean, tidy, good size and decent size TV. Shower in room was good.
Our room was situated right outside the lift on the ground floor which resulted in some noise. Otherwise was very good.

The room was ready before the specified checking-in time allowing us to access the room and leave our bags so that we could attend a show in the afternoon in Edinburgh without the inconvenience of taking our bags with us.
The size of the print in the notice giving details of how to operate the air conditioning was very small and difficult to read for spectacle wearers. We eventually managed to turn off the air circulation at about 3 o'clock in the morning after finding it difficult to sleep because of the noise of the air circulation (not particularly noisy unless you wanted to sleep). Small type size is a problem found everywhere for older people who cannot see very well without their reading glasses which they may not have available.

The people at the counter for check-in and check-out were really nice and welcoming.
The rooms where inhospitable for having a good sleep. I could hear everything from the noise in the corridors to the snoring in both sides of my room. To make matters worse, the second day of my stay there was a false alarm that made everyone going out but without any guidance from the night staff either what to do or what to expect. The clealiness of the floors and the furniture of my room were not the best either.

Great location close to bus and tram. Breakfast served at the hotel. Staff was friendly.
Mold in the shower, and the toilet would not reset after a flush. The fire alarm was falsely armed at 2:20 am and we had to evacuate. No discounts were offered for our trouble.

Incorrect information given. in the promo it is mentioned that there is big Oceanic mall next to the property whereas that mall was almost closed. Location was away from the center of the city.
Room carpet was dirty.
