The carpet in the room was filthy , the wc was not clean properly. Dusty everywhere.
Service was very very poor. Had to wait 1 hour and needed to call them 5/6 times for an iron.

It was a good basic hotel with excellent transport links into Edinburgh. Comfy beds, lots of parking, well-stocked gym.
The food was disappointing. It was not very nice, and the seats were the wrong height for the tables which made it all uncomfortable. With its location right next to the zoo we should have expected it, but it was filled with families and children so it was *very* noisy!

It was a great stay, the inside was lovely and so were the staff, the new bar area was great! Also very close to the zoo and other parts of Edinburgh.
I didn’t particularly like the door inside the room that you could see into the other room through the keyhole. We had to put the suitcase in front of it for privacy reason.

Hotel was great .eating area was lovely smart and clean. Really enjoyed the Indian curry very well cooked . definitely eat that again ..
Breakfast was horrible..I've eaten in lots of holiday inns as I'm a member of IHG hotels but the sausages weren't nice and the mushrooms cold .... I didn't wanna complain but the breakfast really wasn't nice at all ... And the bed I was in extremely uncomfortable so didn't sleep well at all...

For the price of the room you should offer Breakfast for free. £12.50 per guest is expensive when there are 6 people staying and 2 more visiting. Room was clean and tidy, need to replace the lumpy hard pillows, Location of the hotel was great for us visiting our family within walking distance from their home.

Welcoming staff & environment..
Manager at restaurant was really nice ..
He even arranged vegan bread for us.
Room service can be improved ..
Also need to add some more options for vegans in food.
