Breakfast was continental room was very comfortable unfortunately I'd asked for a ground floor but had to do stairs, staff were very good at running my bagae up and down the stairs
Staff were very friendly, that's why I like to go there.

The bedroom was nicely furnished and decorated, had the usual items like tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, nice big tv. The staff were very all pleasant, especially the lady who was in charge at breakfast.
We had the carvery evening dinner which was great value for money with a great choice of vegetables and various potatoes eg roast , mashed and slices.
There was only one thing I didnt like. I couldnt open my bedroom window and I do like fresh air in my bedroom. I did not mention to staff as I was only staying for 1 night. Am not sure if the catch was faulty or if just cannot open any windows.

Put in a note saying lower floor if possible but put on second floor and had 3 small flights of stairs. When asked if could possibly change was told they were fully booked. Didn't even try to look and see if it could have been possible.

Location and free parking for guests. Although I have been sent a parking fine For £100 from Euro car parks who manage their car parking even after validating at reception with my registration. Not good spoilt the visit now.

Good location for where I was working. Toby Carvery very nice, staff great
On a very busy road that generates a lot of noise. Weather was mild but had to sleep with windows shut so uncomfortably warm in the room. Booked last minute as another property let me down so could only get a single room which was tiny and very dusty - don’t think it had been used in a while.

I absolutely loved everything about my stay - the room was big enough, warm & cozy, the bed was really comfy & warm, good shower, in the bathroom there was a hot towel rail which means you can nicely dry your towels after having a shower. There was a choice of continental or cooked breakfast, I chose cooked & it was a very wide selection of different traditional local breakfast choices like bacon, sausages, fried eggs, beans in tomatoe sauce, fried mushrooms, black pudding, potatoe scones, yorkshire pudding, haggis and more options. And of course tea, coffee & juice. Every day my room was cleaned & tidied. And people who work there are just magical - very friendly, helpful & always with a genuine smile on their faces. So I say a huge THANK YOU for my amazing 9 day stay, I totally recommend this place to others & I'll sure be back! :)
Maybe some people might find street sounds a bit noisy as my room windows were facing the street. But... for me it was no problem as after a long day at a conference I fell asleep immediately. But if you are light sleeper I think you can just say so & try to arrange a room facing the other side of the building. :)
