Loved the location, just a short bus ride into town. It felt so cozy. Breakfast was great. I enjoyed the fire in the reception room and had a whiskey from the honesty bar.

The front room with the fireplace was so very comfortable after a long day exploring. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive.
Our room was hot and the window didnt open. We found ourselves propping the door open at night to sleep more comfortably. Also, the shower plumbing was loose and sprayed water like a hose on a couple of occasions.

Great location, only a short 2 bus ride into the centre of Edinburgh.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfasts were fantastic.

Location was fantastic, with easy access to the city centre via the bus service.
Also an added bonus was that there was a free car park with plenty of spaces for all guests.
Room only had single glazed windows so could a little noisy at times as the hotel was on a main road.

Really good location. Bus stop just right next the the hotel. The neighborhood was good and quiet.
Half of the rooms are at basement. So lack of air circulation and facilities seemed a bit old.

Easy to locate when coming in to Edinburgh. The bus stop is about a house away on either side, so it makes it very easy to get on and head into the heart of Edinburgh. Staff was a lovely and attentive. definitely will be back!

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast was excellent. Room very clean and the complementary sherry was a nice touch. Beautiful old building and on a bus route so convenient to explore Edinburgh.
Bed was two separate beds pushed together.

Close to central Edinburgh ,helpful and pleasant staff
We were on the 3rd floor and realised that we could not bring our bags up 6 flights of stairs so we resorted to bringing just our backpack up each day and changing out clothes in the morning

The decoration vintage of the place is really good, its get you back on time.
The breakfast was really good, so full filling
The Celling in the bathroom it was molde and the vent in same room was really dusty. The bathroom door get stuck when you close it.
