Not too far from the main attractions and room was nice. Staff at check in and out were great!
They charge for parking even though it is the hotels own parking.

Clean, bright & airy, friendly & helpful staff, comfortable- didnt feel basic like some places can. Breakfast was good quality. Would definitely stay again.
If I have to say something then maybe the carpets & paint work in the upstairs corridors could be refreshed.

It's very convinient to the attractions,princess street is about 10mins walk. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Rooms clean and well stocked with towels,tea,coffee,etc. Electric socket on the bedside is a plus for me. We arrived early and they stored our luggage until we came back in the evening.
Room was cold even though it said 22C on the temperature control,it felt more like 10C. It was sorted on the 1st night after I rang reception,but it was same again on our 2nd night. You can hear people talking and opening/ closing doors early in the morning. I was woken up at 6am on the 2 nights we were there.

Very comfortable bed. Good location, 5 minutes walk to Haymarket. Trams and buses right outside.
The hotel is a solid 3 stars. Bit old, dated and featureless.

This hotel is great for a city break in Edinburgh! Really great value for money with little eating spots & pubs nearby. You're just enough out of the city centre but not too far to walk to the main hotspots (about 15mins) or a short walk to the station with frequent trains running into Edinburgh that take only 4mins. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly with any needs. We were also given complementary drinks upon check-in. Taxi drop off right outside the front door too. Rooms are really spacious, clean and comfy. We travelled with our young baby and there was enough room for all our stuff, pram and travel cot. Highly recommend.
