Pleasant
The room looks pretty and the staff are really nice--they even let me check in an hour early, which 1 really appreciated.
Good location and Bus stop is 2 mins away by feet
The room is beautiful and nicely decorated, but unfortunately it was quite dusty upon arrival. I even found hairs under the dresser. Thankfully, the reception quickly sent someone to clean it. I also had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi (see image attached). Luckily my tablet managed to connect so I copied and manually entered the IP address to my phone, the connection was very unstable and basically unusable. I ended up relying on my mobile data. Additionally, the small fridge in the room wasn't working. Hopefully these issues can be addressed for future guests, as the place has great potential,.

The only good thing about this hotel was the location.
The rooms were extremely small and the pictures are taken with a wide lens to make them seem bigger. The rooms have no amenities and the housekeeping doesn't provide anything. The housekeeping wasn't clean, I cleaned after them daily. The AC/Heating broke every day. The electricity of the hotel cut off twice during our stay. One of the lifts was broken for 1 week of our stay. The general cleanliness of the hotel was extremely poor. The food was very bad.

Disappointing
Location- close to the international conference centre
The whole 5 night stay was utterly disappointing and frustrating. I paid for a Privilege room, but I was not provided even the basic facilities. The Internet was extremely weak upon my arrival and later from Day 2 there was none altogether until the end of my stay!! At first I was disconnected for a full night from the rest of the world as I had used up all my mobile data since I was traveling for work reasons and needed the Internet to work. Not even the room phone worked, so I had to go downstairs at 11 a.m. to ask about the Internet. The staff was useless. What struck me is their nonchalant way to respond to me as if this did not affect them- the whole hotel had no Internet and remained this way even upon my departure! In addition to this, my safe did not lock from the moment I entered the room until one day before last (!) when they finally claimed they had repaired it; however, the usual order for a safe when used for the first time- Reset- did not appear. The result, all the week I took my valuables and broke my back carrying my laptop (which broke my back) everywhere I went. Last but not least, the air conditioner was not always stable, and the room could not be warmed at times.

It was close to Edinburgh Haymarket Railway Station.
For most of my stay the internet was being fixed and when it was fixed it still didn’t work.
The shower floor in the en-suite bathroom was completely smooth and there was no anti-slip mat provided. Taking a shower I had to be very careful of how I placed my feet.
Breakfast: Unless you have sharp strong teeth avoid the bacon. Forks couldn’t pierce it and knives couldn’t cut it. It was not so much cooked as fossilised. It could, however, be used to resole shoes.
