Very convenient location just across the road from the main Edinburgh Waverley Railway Station. Very clean and comfortable room, quiet and with friendly and helpful staff. Nice bar also serving breakfast, snacks and good coffee. I wish I could stay longer.

Location was excellent, beautiful room and very quiet. Staff were lovely
I stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms and I can only guess that whoever designed it has never stayed in a hotel before.
There’s only 2 power points on the room, both of which are next to the bed.
You have a desk, but no power point near the desk to charge your laptop or phone.
You have a hairdryer hanging in the bedroom because there’s no shelf in the bathroom to put it. And guess what, no power point in the bathroom. So you’re drying your hair while sitting on the bed because there’s nowhere else to plug it in. And guess where the fellas are shaving with an electric shaver if it needs to be plugged in ? Over the bed because there’s nowhere else to plug it in. Oh and there’s a kettle, which you’re boiling on the minuscule bedside shelf because you guessed it, there’s nowhere else to plug it in !
One rubbish bin in the bathroom but nowhere else in the room.
Bathroom needs an exhaust fan because the ceiling is already going moldy and this is a newly refurbished room.
And for security reasons, guys the doors should either have a security catch or a peep hole.
If you’re not going to offer soap, then please provide a cloth to use the body wash with.

The room had a very comfortable bed and a wonderful shower. The location was excellent, so close to Princes Street shops, train and bus stations. The breakfast was exceptionally good and healthy.
I would stay here again.

The hotel location was great - across from train station and near good shopping and restaurants. The hotel was unassuming from the street but inside lobby and restaurant was stylish and upscale. The room was minimal but comfortable - the bed was very good. It was a great property for our location needs near the city center/ old town and I will be revisiting on my next on my next trip .
