Big bed, comfortable mattress, not far from city centre, nice shower, good towels, coffee machine / kettle, iron.
Noisy road, noisy indoors (you can hear everything), uncomfortable pillows, dust on the huge lustre, smell in the room, mould in the bathroom.

The location is fab…10 mins from the zoo and 10 mins to Edinburgh city centre bus stops right outside hotel….bed where comfy …lady on reception was really lovely and friendly
The room we were in when u walked in there was a weird smell that wouldn’t go away ….like a sewage type of smell….the shower only ran cold and the bath tap didn’t work so had to fill bath with shower head . Then the bath water would not drain did report to hotel

Rooms were exceptionally nice. The staff were very polite and helpful. The adjoining restaurant was also great. Just far enough out of the city to be quiet but close to all forms of public transport.

Really nice clean hotel, great staff and amazing food. Room was cosy, dimmer lights were a nice touch. Good views out to the stadium too.

Great hotel, the family room was amazing and spacious, with a really good bedding, and a great bath. The location is very convenient, just a short bus ride away from the city centre (we even walked there, with a detour through Dean Village). The neighborhood is also very nice with restaurants within walking distance. Loved it, would definitely go back!

Very friendly staff, great car park, huge rooms and bed, amazing bathtub. The location is very convenient for either car travel since it is right next to the main road from Edinburgh airport, and it can also serve as a great starting point for the Edinburgh walk-loop because you can make a route around the local must-see places and return back to the hotel.

It is on the bus route from center of Edinburgh and the 100 airport bus. Nothing else.
I previously stayed there in a nice room, this time in a so-called cozy cramped room with only a tiny seat and miniature table. Due to an event no dinner possible until after 7 so I had a great one at Hampton pub down the street. Breakfast for 15 pds. poor. In my opinión this is an events oriented hotel. I would not stay there again.

Gorgeous hotel. Good value considering the overall cleanliness, facilities and location. Bathroom excellent with lovely white towels and dressing gowns. Staff were very good and helpful. Fabulous breakfast and a real sense of Scotland and of the city.

The room was nice and clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel is close to a public transportation which enables you to move around the city quickly.
Rooms facing the road can get noisy due to the busy road on which the hotel is situated.
