When we arrived to check in the host was rude. We had put a request in for ground floor and rooms next to each other, due to limited mobility. The host was rude and said the rooms downstairs we booked and one was a single room and then walked away.
The rooms were clean and big. Beds fairly comfortable. Asked for additional pillows as only one each on the beds, which were given.
The shower was lovely hot water but pressure was awful. It was more of a trickle.
The corridor was noisy with guests making a lot of noise. The rooms are NOT sound proofed, we could hear what was happening in the room next door to us.
The recpetion was always empty, they only seemed to be there at 3pm for a little while, otherwise we never saw any staff during our stay.
Our bedroom door wouldnt lock properly. You really had to play around with it to get it locked. The doors in the hall way were tiny and difficult to get through.
The only good points about the hotel are the rooms were big, the water was hot and parking was free behind the hotel and the bus into and out of edinburgh was right by hotel.

Place had heating, comfortable bed.
No tooth brush and tooth paste. Address takes me a few blocks down so took me time to find the hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay. The room was much more spacious and clean than I anticipated, especially for the price. It was a very comfortable night, and I will absolutely be booking here again in the future.
