The building was fabulous with a lot of history, old paintings and photographs. Wonderful staff and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent. Will be back!

We enjoyed the coffee machine and the lovely view over the park. Nice neighbourhood. The bed was super comfortable.

This property is a historic private club with attached hotel. There are beautiful public rooms (lounge, restaurant, etc) for guests to use. My room was spacious and well equipped, with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room and there is a buffet as well as made to order options, including full Scottish breakfast. The property is located in a lovely quiet neighborhood overlooking a (private) park, but is within easy walking distance of plenty of restaurants and central Edinburgh sights.
Nothing comes to mind. All in all it was a very good place to stay in an excellent location.

Comfortable rooms and a good location with easy walk to city . A nice quiet street ( most if the time) . Feels very safe .
Parking - obviously not much can be done as no off street parking - maybe advocate with the council about longer stay spaces for guests ( not very user friendly for visitors to Edinburgh , but perhaps they dont care )
