We had a wonderful stay at the Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh. The location is perfect—tucked away in a quiet, charming neighborhood, yet still within easy walking distance of the city center. The hotel itself is a beautiful property full of character and history, and our room was incredibly spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable.
Breakfast was fantastic each morning, with a great variety of delicious options, and the staff throughout the hotel were exceptionally friendly and engaging—always ready to help with a smile. We’d definitely recommend the Bonham and would love to return!
The only downside was that our room was located directly below the restaurant, so we could hear some noise from chairs being moved above us, which was a bit disruptive at times. Still, this was a small issue in an otherwise excellent stay.

Stayed two nights for a special birthday at what on the surface is a beautiful hotel. Lovely comfortable room. Reception and bar staff very helpful.
Unfortunately, the stay was spoilt by the first morning breakfast having human hairs in the eggs (Refunded thank you). Items not functioning in the room were the shaver point and hair dryer.

Staff were excellent - helpful, courteous and friendly. Room was comfortable and well presented. Location was great - nice and quiet, a few minutes walk from the centre.
Just one minor point - given the cost of the room I would have expected to have towels/dressing gowns to be white and fluffy not grey and rough to the touch.

The location was so easy and convenient to walk, take the tram, or the train. It was also in a beautiful location in a quiet location. The interior of the hotel was beautiful and peaceful…I felt as if I was in a beautiful and elegant home. The breakfast was delicious and the desserts as well. Our room was beautiful and do comfortable.
