Excellent large room with high ceilings. We had a nice view out of the front of the hotel. We were on the 3rd floor and could see the castle in the distance. Great to have a m wave and some cutlery & crockery, we made ourselves breakfast of porridge :-)
The honesty bar was great too - with decent prices. Excellent facilities all round
Probably just a mix up.... but we didnt need our room 'making up' during our three day visit. However... we did ask for the recycling and rubbish bins to be emptied... unfortunately that didn't happen, but it was really only a small thing

Beautiful room with a brilliant view, overlooking Dean's Village. The staff were very accommodating and gave some good recommendations. We stayed over Easter and the staff left us a card and a chocolate egg! The bed was very comfy, the shower was great - high water pressure. It was very easy to walk into town and we had a brilliant time in Edinburgh.

Location: the hotel located within 25 minutes from the Royal Mile.
Apartment: it's absolutely amazingly, bright and spacious apartment in vintage style.
Staff: I would like to recognize Sandy, she went an extra miles to make my arrival as smooth as possible. The thing is that reception open hours are from 8am - 8pm, however my train arrived at 8:16pm. She left form me straight forward instructions how to get an access to my apartment.

Great location, comfortable bed, clean room. The room was extremely hot even though all heating was off, we were advised to open the window to cool the room down but we had to leave it open during our whole stay for a bearable temperature including during the night even with minus temps and that was still warm enough to wear a t-shirt, we kept the bedroom door closed and the hallway and bathroom remained very hot, the only heating that was on was the towel rail.

Location was great, just a short walk to the city centre but in a quiet neighborhood. Wonderful views from the suite. Suite well equipped with microwave, fridge and cutlery and crockery. As we arrived after 8pm the access instructions were provided which were easy to follow. Staff friendly and helpful.

This is an exceptional hotel. SUCH lovely, spacious rooms and bathrooms. We had 4 rooms total and they all were so spacious and BEAUTIFUL! Parking was easy and on the premises. Only 10 pounds. Even though breakfast is not provided, the front desk had e-mailed me with suggestions. A GORGIOUS neighborhood too. This was by far our FAVORITE hotel in all of Scotland.
The many hallways were confusing at first! But that's what gave the hotel so much charm!
