Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean, with very friendly staff. Great location tucked away so that it’s very quiet for a peaceful nights sleep, albeit you are in the centre of the city.

Staff is great and super accommodating. The location is perfect, just a 10 min walk to the Royal Mile but still on a quiet street so there was no noise at night. Hotel was clean and loved the antique design. Upgraded bathrooms!

I fell in love with this hotel. Small, cozy, authentic Scottish feeling, great staff and very good whisky (cheaper than in almost every place I visited in Edinburgh)

Charming hotel so close to the city centre. Very comfortable room. The shower was wonderful! Easy walk from Princes Street and Waverley Station. Walking distance to both Old and New Town.
