The location is perfect for getting into town and the Queens Hall, easy walking distance. Staff and room, all good!
A bit of mould in the shower spoilt the overall effect but no Biggie.

Convenient location only 25 min walk to castle etc. Very close to buses. Room warm and comfortable. Plenty of hot water for a bath. Breakfast lovely selection and plentiful. All staff we met were really friendly. Breakfast staff very helpful. Provided a packed breakfast fit for a king when we had an early start.
Our room was downstairs and close to the on site restaurant. We never heard any noise from the restaurant but there was a squeaky door which we heard early in the morning. One of the windows in the breakfast room draughty, These are very minor points as we had a lovely stay at the Salisbury

Stayed at this lovely hotel recently during Edinburgh Fringe. Great location meant we could walk into town. Friendly, helpful staff and very comfy rooms. A great selection at breakfast time. Very good value.

Cold. No bottle opener for bottles in fridge, lamp broken and stuck together with tape, bathroom extractor did not work.

Staff were great and nothing was too much trouble
Good breakfast
The week we went it was very hot and we needed a fan in the room to cool us down. We had the windows open but it was so noisy as we were on the main road. Unfortunately no fan available. I think the back bedrooms would have been much cooler but im not sure they would have had a bath in them. So if you want a quiet, cool room ask for the back of the house.
