Comfortable and clean. Helpful friendly staff. Although it is a couple of miles out from the centre, it is on a main bus route into town.

Solo guest in a double bed -very comfy ( and quiet)with clean bedding. Adequate basic breakfast - bacon, egg, sausage and tomato -beans with 3 cereal/juice tea, toast or coffee choices. I was able to have a hot bath! Shower available. Most pleasant Chinese?Senior couple and African evening reception gent. Room attendant also courteous. A good deal for last minute booking for under £35. Bus stops at the property for Edinburgh centre and airport.
Good check in/out times 2pm to 11am
Carpet hygiene especially as I am asthmatic.
Only one basic dining type chair okay for one night and one person but in a room for 4 people? Could be an issue.

Hotel is perfectly placed between the airport and city Centre with airport bus only a block away. The hotel itself was much better than expected for what I paid. , and even included hot and cold breakfast and coffee and TV in bedroom.
No real complaints.

Bed squeaked every time you moved on it. Due to it just being held together and no more was able to get my finger in the gap connecting the bedframe to the bed posts resulting in barely managing to sleep.
TV in the room was tiny, and also is positioned to high to watch unless your sitting up right.
Staff were amazingly friendly and welcoming cant fault him for anything, gentleman was absolutely fantastic l.

Price: booked for a cheap overnight stay before an early flight, did the job fine.

As some other reviewers have mentioned, it's a little tired and showing its age. Chips to plaster, grubby paintwork in places, carpets needing a refresh. That said, it was clean and fresh where it mattered: bathroom was spotless, sheets and towels smelt and felt fresh. If you expect the Ritz, you'll be disappointed, but for a budget hotel, it's pretty good!

Needed a room for the night in an emergency due to flooding at my flat and chose here due to proximity to work. Wonderful value for a clean and welcoming little hotel. Could do with some tlc but for the price I paid I have no complaints.

Although the room I booked had a shared bathroom, it was still a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel had two shared bathrooms and toilets, which made it more convenient and avoided long waits. The room itself was clean, cozy, and good value for money. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better.

Not much to like about this hotel.
This building is crying out for help. It needs an extensive renovation. Tired from the minute you enter the door. Our room was very sad. The paper on the ceiling was hanging off in the corner, stains on the wall but the en-suite was the pits. The toilet and the wash hand basin made noises that only the Titanic sinking could have replicated and the door had no inside handle as it was obvious been on some other room turned and put on this en-suite Shower doors had tape keeping the panel in place. When we got back at night the person on the reception desk was sitting sleeping and will have had no idea we had entered as the front door was unlocked and anybody could have have walked in. We couldn’t bring ourselves to stay for the breakfast. !!!

Very accommodating when my flight was delayed, meaning a very late night arrival.
Very easy to get to from the airport. Single on the 100 express bus cost £5:50. Get off at Western Corner and it's 3 munute walk.
Mattress was fantastic. I was so comfortable and I slept incredibly well for me.
Reasonable breakfast included. Plenty of hot water for showering.
It's pretty dated, but it's clean. And I'm a tea drinker. I wish places would put out more tea in the rooms. And please, 3 of those dinky little milk pods? More please.
