Interesting old house. Partner to hotel nearby but smaller. Staff excellent, very helpful and caring.
Missing milk for a brew in morning but staff were very apologetic and made correction without hassle.

The location was perfect, in a lovely residential street, but moments away from the Didsbury nightlife and a pleasant stroll to Fletcher Moss park and gardens. Our room and ensuite were luxurious, with high quality bed linen, towels and toiletries. The mini bar was well stocked, though we only used the fresh milk in there for our morning drink. A nice touch, rather than UHT milk. The staff we met were all welcoming and we are already booked to stay again in a few weeks time.
The only slight niggles, were that the parking was limited and whilst we managed to get the last space, my husband, the driver, had to climb out of the passenger side of the car. The other unusual feature, was no window dressing in the bathroom, which we were a little uncomfortable with, which was a shame as the bathroom itself was absolutely stunning, with an enormous walk in shower and roll top bath.

Staff were welcoming and helpful and room was good but over £200 per night it should be.
The first night we had a a meal in the area assigned for food. We were the only ones eating and were encouraged to try their chefs special menu that had just been launched. My wife had a green curry which appeared to be like a soup with bits of some spongey material in it, it was supposed to be tofu but didn't behave like it. She left the meal after a couple of spoon fulls but didn't complain as my daughter hates a fuss. Also didn't like the fact that the dishwasher was put on at the same time as were eating in the same room, I suspect we were just unlucky with this dish, my daughters and my meal were ok

Lovely hotel, clean, bright, high quality finishes, great parking and friendly staff. Our only negative was the room temperature, it was very warm for us but it did have aircon and opening windows.
