We upgraded to Executive lounge access, the waiter that night (Gowtham) was exceptional.

Breakfast provided a good choice and staff on duty were pleasant
Corridor to room on floor 4, has a dirty carpet and there were numerous dirty plates,glasses, bottles etc left outside rooms.
In Little M bar, my husband asked for a glass of red wine and was told it cost £22.50 - we explained that we did not want a bottle, only one glass,however this was the outrageous charge for one glass - we did not pay it.
We ate in the main restaurant and while the meal was OK, when we asked the waiter if service was included, he stated no, but we could give him cash - We do not find this acceptable.
Shower in room had no water pressure and the water tricked out.I wish we had tested it the evening before , however we arrived quite late and expected it to work in a hotel of this calibre.At 06.30 the next morning , with a flight to catch there was no time to complain, wait for maintainance, change rooms etc.
Upon checking out the female member of staff at reception did not ask us if everything had been OK, so my husband explained about the shower and she stated she would contact maintainance, but give a clear impression of being totally disinterested.
I have stayed in this hotel many times over the years for both business and leisure and it appears to be going downhill rapidly.This was a disappointing stay and I have a booking for February 2026, which I am strongly considering cancelling.
