Amazing location. The lady on reception was amazing (didn't get her name). She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel and our stay.

Location was good
Roads closed due to Manchester run which I wasnt told about until last minute.
Staff were uninterested in anything and not very helpful in general. Bathroom toilet seat broken, toilet not fixed to the wall. Carpets and timed floor dirty. Grab n go breakfast consisted of a burnt croissant nothing else. Only one set of towels in the room, I asked for another set which never got delivered.

The facilities and staff we couldn't fault. It was reasonably situated in regards to the township and I centre.
Having the laundry was a bonus as we had been travelling for 3 weeks doing some hand washing along the way, but having machines for a larger load was great
The creaky floorboards in our room. They made a lot of noise and the people in the room under us must have been driven crazy.
The lighting in the kitchen area wasn't all the good. It was hard to see the bench area at night.

The room itself was nice and spacious and different from usual hotels I'd stayed in in Manchester
The mattress and pillows were simply not up to scratch for the price we paid for this hotel, both me and my partner slept poorly.

The room was a good size and the addition of a kitchenette really made our trip with having a 1 year old. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Air conditioning was effective and not too noisy. No noise from outside or other rooms.
There was no mattress in the cot so it was too hard for our 1 year old. The shower cubicle is too small for a rainfall shower if you want to keep your hair dry.
