Safe didnt work (missing battery), despite asking no one replaced it
Second morning no hot water for shower or shave
No one took away dirty cup or replaced the single sachet of milk (not that I could use it without a working coffee machine)

Stayed in a suite. Comfy bed and toiletries. Mood lighting.
Lounge area overlooking the canal. Good hairdryer.
When I made the booking I mentioned that it was my husband's 60th birthday and on entering the room there was a tray of chocolates and rose on the bed with a note wishing him a pleasant stay for his birthday which I thought was a nice touch.
TV did not work but did not know this till the morning when came to put it on. No picture and no back on remote control.
We had chosen to have the continental breakfast that is brought to your room so asked that the charge for that be dropped seeing as this wasn't working.
Prior to booking was told would be greeted with glass of prosecco but was told on arrival that they had run out. Feel they should have enough to accommodate the number of guests staying there.

Excellent location. Plenty car parks near by. Nice rooms, comfy bed. Had everything that was needed. Also left a little surprise for my birthday.
The noise. Bottle bins being emptied at 4.30 in the morning. Street noise.

The hotel is well decorated and very clean.
The room was very poor. (31) There was a cool feature of sky lights, however the blinds didnt cover the window.

The check in was very quick, and a lovely touch to be offered a drink. The room was massive, and very well equipped with a huge TV on the wall and a fantastic bathroom, with bath and shower. It was just a shame i had only booked for one night. Will definately look to stay here again. Perfect for Canal Street, but just far enough up the street to not be in the middle of all the noise.
Pillows were a little soft, but that was not a deal breaker.

Beautiful rooms, excellent staff - they couldnt do enough for us! Felt very safe and secure with 24 hour reception. Fabulous location!
The car park recommended by the hotel wasnt great we found a nicer one closer to the hotel.
