The location to my event, the purpose of my travel.
The staff originally stated that the room is booked was unavailable, and I had to fight to get the room i paid for. I ended up getting it. When we got to the room though, the shower was not working. The area around the place gave off a very uncomfortable feeling.

I love the convenience of the location. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchenette was a nice touch.
There was a loud fight outside the window that lasted longer than it should have. Not the hotel’s fault but the windows and doors dont block any sound out.

I like the view of the lagoon from my balcony and it's quiet. And relaxing.
What I didn't like. Was that the time I spent here seemed like I went too fast. I wish I could stay longer.

Disappointing
The location was great. The outside property was nice and looked well kept. The inside public areas were also pleasant. The sleeping rooms were old and shabby (but neat and clean) and in need of updating, but the beds were clean and comfortable. We had other plans for breakfast so didn't take advantage of the breakfast offered by the establishment.
The front desk staff varied from sort of friendly, to brief smiles (but no help), to a very young, sarcastic, and not-at-all-interested individual whose attitude indicated we were interrupting his game playing on check-in desk computer. I was also required to read and initial a document showing I would be fined if the second bed in my room was used (it wasn't--I reserved a second room for my son), or if the room was left messy, etc., etc., etc.--this was a long list of items indicating that the guest could and would be fined if the management deemed it necessary. I stayed at this location once before a few years ago and found it comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful--not so this time.

Large rooms, near the large shopping center.
Two of the four room lamps didn't work at all, I needed to find a suitcase stand from a housekeeper because there wasn't one in our room. The tub/shower handle was loose; there was no body wash. Too many minor things that needed attention which add up.
