Queen basic room was spacious with desk, bed, tv, bathroom and coffee maker
Breakfast offered hot food selection, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, fruits and more
This room did not have a refrigerator or microwave.
The bath sink basin coating was peeling in several places

In 2025, I would think a hotel like Hampton Inn would have basic amenities like a refrigerator and a microwave!
Even Motel 6 has these. Do better please!

The rooms were nice and spacious, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
It has a bit of an outdated interior and a poor breakfast with not a lot of choices.

We have stayed at many hotels in the Alameda area, and have found Hampton Inn the best so far. The location is perfect for our needs, the check in was easy, room sizable & clean, bed comfy, and shower water pressure was great. The breakfast is a full breakfast & very tasty. 24 hr coffee or tea is also available in the lobby, along with a bar for evening enjoyment with lots of tv's to enjoy with a drink & snack. We'll be back!

Hotel was clean. Bartender was super nice and accommodating!
No microwave or fridge in the room. Three cars were broken into on the same day, that I know of, could have been more. (one being my sister's). Woman at the desk could not have cared less---it's the bay area she said, there are signs. Yes, well I grew up in the bay area and I would expect that the frequency at which it happens in this particular hotel they would warn you when you checked in. Would NEVER return and I would not recommend this place.

There was an extra fee for parking my car. That should have been part of the nightly charge not a surprise at checkin.
