They cleaned the room very well everyday and changed towels
The room was a bit cold at night time.
The fire alarm rang in the middle of the night (2am) and of course it was not the hostel’s fault but a bit more info would be great when we were waiting outside while the firemen where reseting the fire alarms inside the hostel

Disappointing
Although it was not *disgusting* the place was definitely not clean. When I put my bedsheets on the mattress I saw a lot of dust, hairs, and trash under the mattress. The room was cold and you could hear everything from the street. Besides that, some members of the staff were not friendly at all. It felt I was annoying them when I was asking something. Oh and I forgot to mention the fire alarm at 2am... To conclude, I would not go back there.

Gorgeous room, excellent shower, comfy beds and reliable wifi.
Kitchen closed till 8 am which was an inconvenience for me because I have to leave by 7:15 for work. Not sure if they offer breakfast.

Have stayed here 4 times and for a single room in the heart of San Francisco it's an excellent value. Staff friendly, clean room, good bed, shower etc. If only it weren't so loud it would be great! The doors of the rooms slam so you hear that every time someone comes/goes. Noise from above-sounds like someone moving furniture, very disruptive.
I didn't get good sleep even though the bed was comfortable. A pity.
