Beach Motel is pretty bare bones place, clean and comfortable beds..., and the heater worked great.
The biggest shortcoming is that there were little to no amenities (one small cheapo soap and a small tube of shampoo). The biggest bummer was that there was no coffee maker in the room. Ocean Beach is a very cold place...and both mornings I had to walk up the street to 7-Eleven for coffee. When travelling, I do not like to wake up first thing in the morning and go out in the cold for a coffee.

Big room with two big beds, fridge and microwave, the staff is friendly, beds are comfortable, he location is perfect, parking available
Very very dirty, there was something like vomit (with pieces of food) on the carpet near the bed. It was simply unpleasant to be there. Very loud (there is a bar right outside the windows where loud music was played until 2 am). Someone above us stayed up all night and walked (the floor creaks a lot). We practically did not sleep for two nights

Beach Motel is a good budget option, ideally located on the beach outskirts of the city. Parking is good onsite. The WiFi worked well. Easy access to Golden Gate bridge can be made without needing to enter the city centre.
The sound insulation is not good, and I had an inconsiderate couple above, who made loud noise until 3:30am, which spoiled an otherwise good time.

Location is good, theres a private parking lot on the backyard - it seems quite compact not covering all rooms however I didnt face a problem with parking. Room was very clean with wide windows.
In bathroom, there was not problem with hot water running from the tap but when shower turned on water was running barely warm.

Staff was very friendly. Nice lol cation close to the beach. Close to restaurants and convenient stores and coffee shop.
Bed was a little uncomfortable.

I loved the price and that it's walking distance to the beach.
I had loud neighbors above me, which stopped eventually. I disliked the fact that there was burn marks in the carpet assuming it was from cigarettes. The curtains on the window was gross. I guess for the price it's what you pay for. And the gentlemen whom helped my brother and I, didn't seem very friendly... more of a serious demeanor.

Bright spacious room, (looks like) newly decorated, with clean fridge and microwave, friendly staff gave extra coffees for the maker. Room and bathroom are very clean.
Can be noisy at night, with sound from hallway/ other guests intruding. We turned on the aircon/heater to drown out the noise. Parking can be a challenge when it's full due to tiny spaces for mostly large cars/suvs.

Great location, near the park and beach. We had sunshine and no fog, so the quiet neighbourhood, the cafe around the corner and the beach were all wonderful in the sun. The room is basic but for this price a good deal, with plenty of parking. The N MUNI trolley going through Judah street( it has its ending point just 2 blocks away from the motel) can be heard driving past, but it wasn't that intruding - we did have a room on the parking area side though. Bed was good and clean. Room was clean. Bathroom was clean and sufficient.
Fridge wasn't connected, so we had to plug it in ourselves and wasn't getting cold still by the end of our stay
